DANCE AT TAKAPUNA.
FUNDS FOR CATHOLIC CHURCH. An enjoyable dance was held in the Boating Clubhouse at Bayswater on Saturday last, to augment the funde of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Takapuna. The dance was conducted by the younger members of the parish, who provided a happy evening for their guests. The hall was prettily decorated and e dainty eupper was served by the committee and members of the Sodality of the Children of Mary. The Monte Carlo dancee were won by Mr. and Mrs. Curry and Mrs. Swann and Mr. Oliver, a second competition being won by Mies N Fraeer. Dancing continued until midnight, concluding an evening, so successfull in every way, that it ie hoped it wul become an annual one.
