PETER PAN.
Dancers at the Peter Pan Cabaret on Saturday evening had a wide range of melodies to satisfy them, for Theo. Walters and his Velvet Rhythm Band have an endless repertoire of the latest catchy airs as well as old-time favourites. From the measured ' waltz of bygone days to the syncopated liveliness of "Wake Up and Live" and "Tiger Rag," the musical note was effectively sustained, and encores were insistently demanded. Bernie Duggan's pianoaccordian specialties were a popular feature, and there were gay canopied decorations to complete a bright effect. Among those present were: —Mesdames R. B. Martin, A. E. Neville, J. Wray (Taurahga), Fred Palmer, D. McDonald, A. Kanerva, .T. Teague. J. McLean, W. Gussey. E. Caddy; Misses Betty Lonergan, Thelma Perry. Margaret' Alexander, Zena Brown (Napier), D. Williams, F. Greening, Lorna Waymouth, Jean Fabian, V. Atkins, Enid Browne, N. Hawkins. E. Mignott. Phil Macdonald, I. Robertson,. C. Matheson. M. Burns, Joan Smith, Ettie Gfreen, Cherie Hindman, Dulcie Adams, G. Martin, R. Thompson, Ailsa Conway. Mona Gore, Jean Myers, D. Lynne. Ethel Belcher, Betty Sorenson, G. Burgans, L. Emmott, E. Young, Thelma Matthews, Dulcie McLean, Wright, Jackson.
