STRONG HEAD SEAS.
HORSE DIES ON VOYA'iJEI. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) GISBORNE, Saturday. The coastal motor vessel Margaret W. experienced a particularly rough passage on the run from Auckland this week, arriving at Gisborne after a in hours' voyage, owing to an easterly gale. The ship met strong bead seas ;u tue Bay of ■ Plenty. A horse which was consigned 'to Gisborne died during the voyage.
