LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.

Manurewa. —The June meeting of the League of Mothers was held in the Town Hall and took the form of a "fathers night." .Mrs. A. C. A. Sexton presided. Mrs. S. 0. English, provincial president, was present, also Mrs. F. Whyte, provincial secretary, Mrs. Horsley and Mrs. Allen. Mfs. English gave an address on the aims and objects of the league. Miss Sheila recited and Mr. Sanderson pave a humorous musical item on a saw. Althea Moody also gave an item and the ladiefe of the Brookby women s division performed a sketch. Epsom: The Epsom branch of the League of Mothers held its monthly meeting at the Baptist Hall, Invernesf Avenue, Epsom. Mrs. Wylie presided Elocutionary items were given bv Mis:' Saunders. Mrs. S. 0. English, thr provincial president, spoke briefly o> the ideals of the league. The speaker Dr. Elizabeth Cole, gave an addrcst entitled. "Life in the Midst of \ears. Mount RoskiJl.—The monthly meetin? nf the Mount TJoskill branch of tin League df Mothers was held at St. Margaret's Church this week. Mrs. Gilepresided. An address was given by Di Elizabeth. 1 Cole.
