MR. A. W. BEESON.
) The death has occurred in Auckland of Mr. Arthur Willoughby Beeson, managing director of the Dominion Brace Company, Limited, of Newmarket, at the age of 54 years. Mr. Beeson was born in Coromandel and spent his early days in To Aroha and Waiorongomai. He joined the New Zealand Railways as a cadet and advanced to the position of assistant stationmaster. In 1912 he left Xcw Zealand for Canada, where he stayed for several years before going to the United States, Honolulu and Cuba. He left America again in 1919 to return to New Zealand. He promoted the Dominion Brace Company, Limited, in 1921 and remained governing director till the time of his death. He was a keen sporting enthusiast, and was an active member of both the Green Lane and Remuera Cricket Clubs. He is survived by two sisters and six brothers.
