WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist issued to the " Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Tauranga, Kawhia and Hamilton:— Light to moderate and variable winds. Weather fair to . fine and mild. Seas slight to moderate. Pressure has again risen considerably over New Zealand and remains high across the north Taaman Sea. A series of westerly depressions continues to cross the south Tasman, but their centres are unusually far couth. FOR THE DOMINION. For 24 hours from 9 a.m. thia day:— The indications are for variable and moderate breezes. There is a prospect of fair and mild weather. Barometer little movement. Seas smooth to moderate. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south, moderate to fresh; sea, moderate; weather, fine, but cloudy; visibility, good; barometer, steady.
