KITCHEN EVENING.
FUNCTION AT OTAHUHT/.
In honour of her approaching marriage, Miss Olga Whitelaw was tendered a kitchen evening in the Kingsford Hall, when there was a very large gathering of friends. Dancing, clever competitions, and a series of games were thoroughly enjoyed by all, the music for the dancing being played by Miss J. Peterson arid Mr. H. Halstead, Miss Marie Holloway playing extras. Monte Carlo dances were »von by Miss A. Monks and Mr. D. Jameson and Miss T. Whitelaw and Mr. W. Piper. Master Jack Peterson was awarded a special competition trophy. Among those present were: Mesdames Monks, Martin, Treweek, F. Ellery, Harris. Blockley, Halstead, Peterson, Ricketts, Xelson, Mollet. Piper. Trainer, J. Boneham. McCowatt, Reynolds (Pukekohe), B. Ellery (Pukekohe), and Misses M. Tucker. J. Peterson, O. Ellery, V. Harris. J. Billinan. E. Rowe, E. Cornelius. M. Giddy (Devonport), A. Monks, P. Lane, K. Kelly, M. Holloway, and G. Cornelius.
