SELECTION OP "HONORARIES."

WELLINGTON, Thursday. Oβ the recommendation of the Direc-ior-General of Health, the Wellington Hospital Board to-night appointed as ite first choice senior honorary surgeon Dr. T. D. M. Stout and senior honorary physician Dr. Boyd, and agreed by tea votes to eight to set up a medical applicante' committee consisting of Dr. Stout, Dr. Boyd, the medical superintendent, the assist-medical superintendent and the pathologist.
This committee will, formulate recommendations to the board as to the remaining appointments on the honorary staff. The board, after considering recommendations, will select proposed appointees and forward the names to the Minister of Health for approval.
