NO MORE MIGRANTS.

Till Unemployed Are Absorbed In New Zealand. MR. NASH IN ENGLAND. (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 7. "While there are still unemployed in New Zealand, the Labour Government cannot consider bringing in additional workers under a general scheme," said the visiting Dominion Minister of Finance, Mr. W. Nash, in an address to the Bonar Law College on migration and Imperial trade. This did not mean, however, that the door was closed, as particular schemes would be considered. For New Zealand to continue to progress or even to hold its ground, it must find more overseas markets or build up manufacturing industries. The Government hoped for a rational expansion of reciprocal trade.
