LABOUR DANCE.
MANGERS EAST BRANCH. The Mangere East Hall presented a gay and animated appearance on Wednesday evening, when the Mangere East branch of the New Zealand Labour party held a Coronation carnival. The festivities were commenced by a grand march led by Mr. C. K. Pctrie, M.P. for Hauraki. During the course of the evening prizes were presented by Mr. l'etrie for various novelty dances. The duties of masters of ceremonies were ably carried out by Messrs. Blair and Pirie. An excellent supper for the 200 people present was served by an energetic ladies' committee, comprising: Mesdames U, Rose, J. Rose, E. Clarke, Cairns, Robb. Stewart, Blair and Priest.
