DECREE ABSOLUTE.
MRS. SIMPSON'S APPLICATION.
(Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, April 28. The Central News Agency understands that the application of Mrs. Simpson for a decree absolute in her divorce proceedings will come before the Court on May 3.
MANY INTERVENERS. ATTEMPTS TO STOP DIVORCE. LONDON, April 22. Within the last few days five persons have intervened to prevent Mrs. Simpson from securing her divorce decree. All said they had evidence to prove that the divorce law was violated, but none was able to convince the King's Proctor that the case should be reopened.
Mrs. Simpson's wedding to the Duke of Windsor will probably take place at the Chateau de Cande, near Tours, France, towards the end of May, and the honeymoon is most likely to be spent in Austria.
