A Maori youth, who was convicted at a recent sitting of the Magistrate's Court and ordered up for sentence if called upon, appeared before justices to-day .011 a charge of unlawfully converting a motor car to his own use. , % ; ... ... % .. The youth, Arapeta Morete, aged 20, was described by Sergeant Millar as "a farm labourer who seldom laboured." He pleaded guilty to a charge of taking a ear valued at £89 at.
