HVNTLT VOTING RESULT.

HUNTLY, this day.
The by-election to fill the extraordinary vacancy on the Huntly Borough Council, caused by the death of Mr. W. H. Bailey, was held yesterday. The polling resulted in Mr. Frank MacDonald being successful, obtaining 343 votes. The other candidate, Mr. James Stirling, polled 250 votes. There were six informal votes.
