ALBERTA PROPOSAL.
BIG DEBT MORATORIUM. (Received 1.30 p.m.) EDMONTON, February 25. A new proposal by the Premier, Mr. William Aberhart, which is now before the Alberta Legislature, to declare a moratorium on all debts to the Dominion Mortgage Association, offers to wipe out all farm interest arrears in districts affected by drought prior to 1935, with an interest cut to 0 per cent for 1937.
