FACTS ABOUT FACES.

CHARACTER READING. Public vehicles afford a good opportunity for studying human nature and judging character by the outward appearance, manners and features of the different passengers. There are four principal shapes of faces, round, square, triangular and oval, which indicate four distinct characters. The round face marks those who do not want to take life too seriously or work too hard. They are entertainers rather than workers or organisers. They make friends easily. You will seldom eeo a round-faced beggar. There is nothing mean in these faces, nor will there be in the actions of their owners, although such are apt to be impetuous and even passionate. Ease and comfort are essential to them. In poverty or when worried they are profoundly miserable. They will not exert themselves for others. They are not thinkers, but have the artistic disposition. The square face signifies the organiser, the business man, and the man of resource and action. If the face is wider at the bottom in proportion to the top, the person will not organise successfully, but if the head portion of the face is wider that person is a capable manager. Dependable Qualities. Square-faced people are more seriousminded than the round-faced. They are dependable as friends. If they have a strong square chin they are ardent, faithful lovers. If the jaws project much at the side it shows tenacity in overcoming obstacles. They are the matter-of-fact, determined people, who neither reason profoundly nor dream, but deal with life as they find it.

The triangular face, wide at the top and pointed at the chin, denotes the jtliinker and philosopher. Those who possess it take life seriously. By nature they are seldom practical, and are apt to live in the clouds. They do not easily make friends, for they are ruled by the head, not the heart. Small talk is detestable to them. They are idealists, and try to keep other people up to their own standard and views of life. They are often leaders and seers.

The oval face is a combination of the round and the triangular. It is essentially a woman's face, the so-called Madonna face. It shows intuition, spirituality, artistic taste and refinement. Those who- have it can be great sinners, as well as great saints. They live by intuition and not by reason. They are of a magnetic disposition, and draw friends and things by their poise and charm of personality, and not by hard work and will power.
