Latham, he ran six furlongs in 1.15 on the course proper. Hβ cut out the first furlong in 11 4-ss, the quarter a tick under 24e, and the half-mile in *Be. He had to face a strong wind in the run home, but finished well. He was wide out, and the son of 1/nnond got through hie task in a manner which suggests that he will give a good account of himself in hie engagements at Te Aroha.

Entail is not going to Te Aroha, but will ran in the eprint event at Bulla, and hie next appearance ie in the Thompson Handicap at Trenfcham. He was given good pace work thie morning.
