MOTOR RACING DRIVERS.

SPEED TRIALS AT MURIWAI.

The annual epeed trials of the New Zealand Motor Racing Drivere' Association will be held at Muriwai Beach on Sunday, March 7, beginning at 10.30 a.m. The trials will be over a flying mile in two directions, and speeds of over 7.) miles per hour will qualify drivers for the "Hepolitc Wings." In the afternoon there will be four races for stock cars and racing model*. These events will be for cujw. for annual competition among members, and also for trophies donated for the meeting. Tho programme is: 12.30 p.m., Eden Motor Body Handicap for the Eden Cup; 1 p.m., Robinson Handicap for the H. Robinson Cup; 1.30 p.m., Tappenden Stock Car Handicap for the Tappenden Cup; 2 p.m., championship event for the Miller-Michelin Cup. Prizes won at the association's gymkhana at Muriwai on Sunday, the results of which were published yesterday, will be distributed later at a fmoke concert.
