ONEHUNGA CROQUET.

The president and members of the Onehunga Croquet Club held an At Home on the lawns recently. The guests were received by Mrs. L. Bray, president of the club, who wore a gown of delphinium blue corded silk, and hat to tone. The tea tables were beautifully decorated in the- club's colours, heliotrope and cream rosea, the ladies responsible being Mesdamee Bray, Vella and Burgess. During th* tea interval Mnfc3ray presented Mr*. McGill .president of the Auckland Croquet Association,, with a beautiful bouquet in; the club's colours. -Mrs. McGill replied on behalf of the visitors, and thanked the members of the club for, the enjoyable function. Mrs. R. Hamilton, vice-president of the New Zealand Croquet council, addressed the gathering on croquet matters.

A progressive croquet tournament was held and bridge was also played. Prizewinners for croquet were: A, Mrs. J. W. Lowe; B, Mrs. Mason;,and hidden number, Mrs. Row bottom. Bridge prize was won by Mrs. A. S. Burgess.
