LINESMAN INJURED.
FALL FROM POWER POLE. FRACTURE OF FOREARM. A compound fracture of the right forearm was suffered this morning by a linesman employed by the Auckland Electric Power Board, Mr. Charles H. Crawford, aged 34, who resides at Wattle Street, New Lynn, when he fell from a power pole in Cleveland Road, Parnell, while engaged in connecting power lines. He was thrown heavily to the ground, and was fortunate to escape more serious injury. After treatment by Dr. E. Vivian, of Parnell, the injured man was taken to the Auckland Hospital, in a St. John ambulance. Hie condition is not serious.
