ASSAULT IN BEDROOM.
MAN STRUCK WITH SHOE.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. "Under the influence of liquor, accused went to hi 9 home and brutally assaulted a man in a bedroom," said Senior Sergeant Lambert in the Police Court to-day, when Frank McCullum was t charged with assault. He pleaded guilty.
Senior Sergeant Lambert said accused struck the man heavily on the head with a shoe and knocked him about considerably, medical attention being necessary. Accused said he had no recollection of the offence.
Remanding accused for sentence, the magistrate asked for a report from the probation officer.
