QUEEN ENJOYS JOKE.
LITTLE GIRL'S MISTAKE
LONDON, February 21
When Queen Mary was attending a "Passion Play" at the Albert Hall, she was told that four-year-old Jean Oxford, who appeared as one of the children of Jerusalem, had exclaimed when she heard that Queen Mary was coming: "How can a big ship like that get into the Albert Hall!" The Queen was so delighted that she sent for Jean and laughed with her over the mistake and gave the child a carnation from her bouquet.
