ELDERLY MAN'S FATE.

FINDING AT INQUEST

A verdict of death from drowning, no marks of violence being found on the body, and 110 evidence to show liow the deceased entered the water, was returned this morning at the inquest held by Mr. 1). A. Sutherland, district coroner, into the death of Mr. Robert Frodshani, aged about •'">•">, who resided at 531, Mount Albert ltoad. Onehunga, and was found drowned in the Manukau Harbour yesterday afternoon. Evidence was given by Mr. H. Harvey. father-in-law of the deceased, who -aid that the latter had recently retired from business in Te Arolia, and had come to live with him. He had left home about 7 o'clock on Saturday evening in apparent good spirits. Mr. William H. liecve. a fisherman. ga\e evidence as to the finding of the body, shortly after 5 oVloik yesterday afternoon. The verdict was then returned as above.
