WEATHER FORECAST
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist ieeued to the " Auckland Star" thie afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Tauranga, Kawhla and Hamilton:— Light to moderate north-east to northerly winds, later freshsning. Weather fair and warm, but some isolated showers are probable. Seas slight to moderate. An anti-cyolone etill covers the Dominion, but is losing intensity and moving slowly eastwards. A depression is located over the wee tern Teaman Sea. FOR THE DOMINION. For 24 hours from B a.m. this day:— The indicationa are for moderate northerliea, freshening. Mainly, there is a prospect of fair to cloudy and warm weather, but some isolated showers. The barometer haa a falling tendency. Seas smooth to moderate. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritirl Island at noon to-day:— Wind, north-north-east, moderate; sea, moderate; weather, fine, but cloudy.; visibility, good; barometer, steady.
