N.Z. DRIVERS' ASSOCIATION,
On Sunday at Muriwai Beach, a picnic and motor gymkhana organised by the New Zealand Motor Racing Drivers' Association was attended by a large number of members and friends. Results of events:— Motor car race, open : G. Smith (Austin) 1; Brewer (Ford V 8) 2, W. Hillson (Willys 77) s>. Musical circle: K. Worrall (Morris 8). Figure-eight:. Brewer (Ford V 8). Bottle square, large cars: G. Johns (Overtand) ; small cars, E. Speir (Morris 8). Acceleration and braking: G. Mathieson (Ford V 8). Match race: G. Smith (Austin) 1; Phillips (Norton motor cycle) 2; A. Dexter (Riley) 3.
