HOWICK SAILING CLUB.
RACE FOR M CLASS. The Howick Sailing Club held a race for the M class on Saturday, starting and finishing off the Orakel wharf. The handicaps were: Manene, Manaia, scr; Mawhltl, 3m; Maratea, 3m 30s; Maroro, sm; Malolo and Maranita, Bm. The race started at 3 p.m., the course being from off Orakei wharf, round Bastion light beacon, thence round white light buoy, thence round Besolution buoy to starting line. The finish was: Manene 4h 4m 335, Mawhlti 4h 5m 20b, Uaroro 4h 5m 455, Maranita 4h 6m 4s, Manaia 4h Om 16s, Maratea 4h 8m -21s, Malolo 4h 8m 445. Result; Maranita 1, Malolo 2, Maroro 3.
