BOXING.
WORLD TITLE BOUT.
LOUIS TO MEET BRADDOCK.
CONTRACT SIGNED AT LAST. CHICACiO. February 21. The American heavy-weight boxers, James Braddock and Joe Louis, have signed a contract under which Hraddock will receive. 50 per cent of the receipts or a guaranteeof 500,1100 dollars, plus half the cinema and radio rights, and Louis per cent of the receipts. Mr. J. Foley, who is now the sole promoter, said lie expected that there would be no difficulty in connect ion with the Madison Square Garden contract.
The reference to the Madison Square Garden contract is to the fact that the authorities at that famous centre had arranged a context between Hraddock and Max Schmelinj:. Since then an announcement was made that a match with Schmeling could not be permitted on account of the strong anti-Nazi feeling in America
