FIFTH TEST SIDE.
THIRTEEN PLAYERS NAMED. SIEVERS CALLED UP AGAIN. SYDXEY, February 21. The Australian cricket team for the final Test match against England, to be commenced at Melbourne next Friday, will be chosen from the following 13 players: — D. G. Bradman, captain (South Australia). V. L. Backoik (South Australia). W. A. Brown (Queensland). J. H. Fingleton (New South Wales). L. O'B. Fleetwood-Smith (Victoria). K. G. Gregery (Victoria). S. .f. Mct'abe (New South Wales). E. L. McCormick (Victoria). L. Nash (Victoria). W. A. Oldfield (New South Wales). W. J. O'Reilly (New South Wales). K. E. Rigg (Victoria). M. W. Sievers (Victoria).
The Victorian fast bowler Nash is the only player who has not appeared in the current series of Test matches.
Besides Nash, those who did not playwhen Australia won the fourth Test at Adelaide by 148 runs, were Badcock (twelfth man) and Sievers. The last lastnamed had figured in the three previous games—sensationally at Melbourne —while Badcock, after appearing at Brisbane and Sydney, was twelfth man at both Melbourne and Adelaide.
A. 0. ( hippei field (N'.S.W.) was the remaining man in the Australian eleven at Adelaide, where lie was one of the successful players - he had been dropped for the third Test at .Melbourne. Chipperfield had the misfortune to have a bone in his jaw broken in last week's New South Wales match against the Knglishinen. when that State beat M.for the second time on this tour.
