BOOK REVIEW.
An unusual book has come from the Wellington office of Messrs. Eced. It is the work of Brslan Kingson, and has for its title "The Moving Tent" Her aim in writing it, Mrs. Kingson tells u>.
"is to link evolution with Biblical Theology." In seeking to do this, she quotes and comments on a number of Scripture passages, which she considers have a symbolic meaning, and makes use of curious dreams and strange psychic experiences she has had. She also makes a good deal of the importance of the part women play in the evolution of life. Among other things, she believes in reincarnation, and in our possessing parts °»° other "given to us after birth.' It i.-, she suggests, when these two spirits or parts of our spirit become perfectly balanced, that we attain completeness. The book (it is of moderate size) gives evidence nf considerable reading and of considerable thinking, but it is her "experiences" on which she lays stress, for it is her conviction that they constitute "a very good raft upon a sea of surmise!"
