LINDBERGHS LEAVE ROME. (Received 11»30 a.m.) ROME, February 4. Colonel and Mrs. Lindbergh have left for Brindisi in continuation of their secret flight. It is rumoured that they may fly to Australia. SEARCH CONTINUES.
MISSING AUSTRALIAN BOMBER (Received 9.30 a.m.) HOBART, this day. The search is being continued for the missing Air Force bomber which, with a crew of two, was lost on Wednesday during a flight from Melbourne to Tasmania. Flare signals, which were reported as having been seen last night in the vicinity of Mount Bischoff, are being investigated.
