TRAFFIC CONTROL.
SCHEME FOR CITY AREAS.
STATEMENT BY MINISTER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. In a statement made to-day the Hon. R. Seniple, Minister of Transport, indicates that he will be meeting local bodies in the Auckland, Wellington, Christchurcli and Dunedin areas with a view to the establishment of a unified system of traffic control in each of these metropolitan districts. He is confident that the result will better traffic conditions, and be a big step in the direction of coping with the road accident problem.
