. A. G. "Patrick ; established" a new Dominlbn record for 'five : miles at the Western Springs Stadium last evening, .when he won a combined club event after a brilliant sprint with J. H.Gillbanfes. The time recorded was 10.41, a 24-seconds' reduction of H. R. Dwight's 1931 record. The events were decided by the Manukau, Lynndale and Northern Amateur Cycling Clubs. Results*— A Grade, five miles.—A. 6. Patrick (Manukau) 1, 'J. H. Gillbanks (Manukau) 2, G. W. Holland (Manukau) 3, G. W. CTark (Manukau)'4. TTlme, 10.41. B Grade, three miles. —S. Windsor (Northern' Club) 1. ,C. H. Pickneli (Manukau) 2,' H. R. Baldwin (Lynndale) 3. The field bunched with six laps still to be ridden. The finish was extremely close for five riders crossed the line practically abreast, 'Time, 6.57.
