ELECTROLYTIC ZINC OUTPUT.
Production of the Electrolytic Zinc Company of Australasia. Limitc<l (Melbournei. for the four weeks ended January 13 compares as follows with the four we< ks ended December 16. 1936:—Zinc, r>337 ,(3386) tons, of which !)0 (00) tons were tised .it the works: silver lead product. 160 (180) tons lead and 34,500 (34.r>00) ounces silver. The West Coast mine's figures were :—Ore treated, 5808 (12.420) tons; lead -oncen trates produced, 371 (748) tons: zinc concentrates. 1850 (4168) tons. The reduced output was du* to the stoppage of two weeks at Christmas.
