WHANGAREI. this day. i The Whangarei Croquet Club's annual tournament is being held to-day, tile weather conditions being excellent after yesterday's rain. Sixty entries were received.; including teams from all northern clubs, and a number from Auckland. 1 Champion Doubles (senior).—Mesdames Walker and Marshall (Whangarei) 2G. beat Mesdames Phelps and Guthrie (Auckland) 20; Mesdames Wilson and Crane (Whangarei) 2G, beat Mesdames Webber and Coutts (Auckland) 17. '
