AUSTRALIAN PRODUCTION

Aucklanders who have been reading of "Rangle River," the story that Zane Grey wrote about a background of Australian life and then saw produced in Australia by an American company, are at last to have the pleasure of seeing the exciting romance when it commences screening at the Majestic Theatre to-morrow.

"Rangle River," was written by the great sportsman-author, on hie recent visit to Australia, his versatile pen creating a screen story embracing countless thrills set against a background of the great Australian cattle country, at the same ttme blending ae an integral part of the production all the country's natural beauties. To fulfil the lead in this film Victor .Tory, one of Hollywood's greatest exponents of virile characterisations, was sent to Australia in company with famous Director Clarence Badger.

Both these personalities entered the making of "Rangle Hiver" with zest and keenness, knowing it was one of the conntry's first gestures of any importance to the world as a motion picture production centre, with the result that the finished J production bids fair *o parallel in every way, overseas-made films, Margaret Dare, selected from hundreds of beautiful Australian girls, occupies the leading, feminine role. It is Miss Dare's debut in the realms of the movie btisiness, and judging from the results turned in, is but the commencement of a brilliant screen i career.
