ENGLISH TEAM'S TOUR. NEW ZEALAND ITINERARY. OPENS AND CLOSES AT AUCKLAND (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Details of the tour of New Zealand during May and June next by the English amateur A.-soeiation football team were discussed at a meeting of the council o: the New- Zealand Football Association to-day. The tours committee reported that arrangements had been concluded with the l'ootball Association, London, by which the English team would play nine matches in New Zealand and eight in Australia. I'he stay of the team will be five weeks m New Zealand and four in Australia.

Provisional itinerary:— Saturday, May 29.—v. Auckland, at Auckland. Wednesday, June 2.—v. Hawke's Bav, at Napier, or v. Wanganui, at Wang'a'nui. Saturday, June s.— Test match, at Wellington. Wednesday, June 9.—v. Otago, at Dunedin. Saturday, June 12. — Test match, at Dunedin. Wednesday, June 16.—v. Southland, at Invercargill. Saturday, June 19.—v. Canterbury, at Christchurch. Wednesday. June 23.—v. Wellington, at Wellington. Saturday June 26. — Test match, at Auckland. Tlie team will probably arrive at Auckland on Friday. May 21. and in orde.tliat the players may recover from the trip the suggestion is that they should be taken on a sightseeing trip to Rotorua. J he team will leave New Zealand for Sydney from Auckland on Saturday, June 26. the ship being delayed from Friday tor that purpose.
