FREIGHT TONNAGE.
BRITISH RAILWAY INCREASE. British Official Wireless. RUGBY, January 5. .In the first nine months of 1936 the tonnage of freight conveyed on the standard gauge railways of Britain increased by 4.3 per cent, or by 8,814,743 tons, compared with the corresponding period in 19351 .
