THE ARBITRATION COURT. i DUNEDIN SITTING NEXT MONTH. I (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. When the Arbitration Court resumes its sitting in Wellington on February 3 it will continue until February 17 and ■then sit in Dunedin on February 19. A remarkable volume of business was transacted by the Court in Wellington. From the time that the hearing of evidence on the basic wage began on October 19 until the holiday recess, the Court heard and made awards in 22 Dominion and 42 local disputes. In addition, it dealt with between 50 and 60 miscellaneous . applications, 34 of which required hearing. When the Court rose for the holidays it had cleared up practically all the work in hand. A few compensation cases and disputes not ready for hearing in December will be dealt with between February 3 and 17.
