FOR CITY AND PROVINCE.

The Government Meteorologist issued to the " Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Tauranga. Kawhia and Hamilton:— Light to moderate south-westerly winds prevailing. Weather, fair » fine, with cool night but warm oay temperatures. Seas, slight to nnoaerate. A slight disturbance is crossing the Dominion to-day, but pressure is stiu generally high. FOR THE DOMINION. For 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day: The indications are for variable and moderate breezes, south-westerly prevailing. There is a prospect of tair weather. Barometer, little movement. Seas, smooth to moderato. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, west, light; sea, ST 1 ??.'' 1 ' weather, cloudy, but fins; visibility, good; barometer, steady.
