PROGRESSIVE CLUB.
BREAK-UP SOCIAL. The social room of the Progressive Club, Y.W.C.A., looked gay with bowls of beautiful spring flowers and Christmas decorations when the club held their break-up social. Mrs. Story presided. Miss Elsie Bennet brought greetings to the club members from the directors of the Y.W.C.A. Delightful song numbers were rendered by Mrs. E. Jackson, while musical numbers and dance music were supplied by Mrs. F. Meale, Mrs. Hyland and Mrs. Story. A competition which caused much laughter was won by Mrs. Gaughan. Supper was served by the hostesses. Mrs. A. Donald, Mrs. Heywood, Mrs. Pocock, Mrs. Neels, Mrs. Atford, Mrs. Murdock, Mrs. F. Meale and Mrs. H. Webster.
