HOWICK TOWN BOARD

The usual fortnightly meeting of the Howick Town Board was held on Thursday evening, Mr. H. H. Bushell presiding. Coronation Celebrations.—lt was decided to call a public meeting to set up a committee to act in conjunction with the Town Board in organising suitable functions to celebrate the King's coronation. Cockle Bay Parking Area.—The board decided to prohibit parking of cars on the southern side of' Shelly Beach Parade, Cockle Bay. Bicycles On Footpaths.—The attention of the board was drawn to the prevalence of the practice of riding bicycles on the footpaths.
