STATE AND STAR.
The State Theatre, Symonds Street, and the Star Theatre, Karangahape Road, have secured an outstanding attraction for their week-end programme in "Dodsworth," a film version of the famous Sinclair Lewis story of the same title. With Ruth C'hatterton and Walter Huston as Mr. and Mrs. Dodsworth and Mrs. Cortright played by the talented Mary Astor, the picture is one that can be thoroughly recommended to all lovers of the better type of film. Other players in the cast include Paul Lukas and David Niven.
