NO SATURDAY WORK. DUNEDIN PROPOSAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Friday. The financial Committee of the City Council has recommended . that as from January 9 next the Town Hall offices should be closed to the public on Saturdays, so as to privilege of tlie five-day working week to the office staff, who would then commence duty at 8.30 a.m. in lieu of 9 a.m. The change would not effect the traffic inspection staff, who would observe the existing working hours.
