Entries for tTie summer meeting of the Auckland Trotting Club, and second and final payments for the Great Northern Trotting Derby, 1930-37, are due with the secretary, Mr. A. G. Mabee, at 5 p.m. next Friday. At the same time entries close for the North Island Challenge Trotting Cup of £200 and trophy value 20gs (for two-year-olds), one mile, to be run at the club's February meeting. Placed 'horses at the Waikato meeting next Saturday doing better time than that specified in the classes for which they are nominated at the Auckland meeting, may be renominated for a higher class of race on either day of the meeting. Such nomination may be made with the secretary of the Waikato Trotting Club at any time up to half an hour after the last race.
