THREE INJURED.

CAR SKIDS OVER BANK.

SHEARERS IN HOSPITAL.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TAIHAPE, Monday.

Three sliearere suffered injuries necessitating their admission to the Tailiape Hospital when the motor car in which they were travelling went over a bank near Mr. R. CollierV, homestead, about 25 miles from Tailiape, at about 11.45 o'clock on Saturday night. The driver, Mr. M. Mitchell, and Mr. Jack Gilbert each suffered a broken collar bone, while Mr. R. Sergeant was cut about the face and head. Two other occupants, Messers. C. Stevens and L. Quinlivan, were not hurt.

The party was proceeding to Mr. Collier'i«, and had almost reached their destination when the car skidded at a sharp bend ■ 011 a particularly narrowpiece of road and plunged over the bank, turning over several times before coming to rest. The car was extensively damaged.
