BOOKMAKING CHARGES.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) MATAMATA, Monday. Two charges of bookmaking were heard in the Putaruru .Magistrates Court, before Mr. S. L. Paterson, S.M. Both accused pleaded guilty. ltobert Charles Madgwick was fined £7 and costs, and George James Trilio, charged with keeping a common gaming house, was fined £5.
