PROBLEM OF UNEMPLOYMENT.
The solution of the unemployment problem is not possible until the problem of distribution has been solved first. It must be obvious, even to the least intelligent, of the community that as long as the distribution of the goods and services available is congested, with the consequent restriction of potential production, that no permanent solution of the unemployment question can be found. Remove the congestion of distribution and the unemployment problem will, to a large extent, solve itself. Therefore, the only obvious course for the Government to take, is to find out the cause of obstruction to distribution, and having found out the cause, remove it. The contained cannot possibly be larger than the container. Surely the mathematicians in Parliament will agree that such is the position. G. F. HOLIBAR.
