BRIDGE EVENING.
LYCEUM CLUB CIRCLE.
The last open evening for the season was held by the bridge circle of the Lyceum Club last night, when a large number of members and their friends attended. The lounge was beautifully decorated with masses of flowers, and the convener of the circle, Mrs. John Nutter, received the guests wearing a frock',of black georgette with silver bead embroideries. On behalf of the members Mrs. Stanley Chambers presented Mrs. Nutter with a brown crocodile handbag. Airs. Chambers was later the recipient of a bouquet of pink gladioli and blue larkspurs. Apologies for her absence were received from Lady Wilson.
The members of the committee who were present were: Mrs. St. Clair Woollams, who wore an amethyst blistered crepe blouse, with a black skirt; Mrsi M. P. Wakcman, wearing black beaded georgette; Mrs. E. D. Pilkington, black floral georgette; Mrs. J. P. Smythe, black ring velvet; Airs. H. V. Kerr, rose pink satin; Alr«>. Clifton Lewis, black crepe cuede; Miss L. Wright, black cracjuellc.
