SPILT INK CLUB.
Aliss Alarnic Spicer gave an interesting and instructive address at the November meeting of the Spilt Ink Club, held in' the Y.W.C.A. Rooms, Queen Street. "Autuate—A Alaori Alaid," was the subject ot address, which was given in the costume worn by some of the first settlers in New Zealand. The worn by Aliss Spicer belonged to her "Teat-gran dm other, and the exquisite embroidery and tiny stitches of'the garments were greatly admired. Old photos graphs and hand-made book-marks were also passed round amongst the members. The meeting concluded with general discussion and eu'vper.
