URGENT CALL UNEXPLAINED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. "The report that the Governor-General has been recalled urgently from the South Island to Wellington is news to me," said the Prime Minister, the Rt, Hon. M. J. Savage, to-night, when interviewed. "The Government has not sent any urgent message to His Excellency. If there is any special reason for his urgent recall, it is not due to any Government business."
