CATCHES AT TARAWERA.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, Monday. Fishing in Lake Tarawera yesterday, two Auckland anglers, Messrs. X. B. Brittain and J. A. Carr, took a bag of 15 flsli, averaging 521b, and to-day, before lunch, secured eight more fish. Fishing- off Point Karere on the same lake on Saturday Mr. R. I. Dansey and Captain Lyon, of Sydney, took 10 fish, averaging 511b, including a nine-pounder. Another good bag reported during the week-end was that of Messrs. Harvey and J. Alexander, operating on the flats off Cochrane Park, the catch totalling 17 fish. Good rises are reported in Lake Rotoiti in the early evenings, and bags of up to 10 fish have been taken within ail hour.
